2. What style of yoga will be taught in the course?

To graduate and receive certification from our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, participants must attend at least 90% of the classes, pass practical teaching assessments, and complete written exams on theory and philosophy. Our certification, issued under Baan Talay Koh Tao, is not registered with Yoga Alliance but offers a thorough and high-quality training experience. Upon completion, participants will be certified as a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200), fully equipped to teach yoga confidently and professionally.
5. Are beginners welcome, or do I need prior yoga experience?
We welcome participants of all levels! While this course is open to beginners, it is recommended that you have some prior experience with yoga. A basic familiarity with the foundational poses and practice will help you feel more comfortable and get the most out of the training. You don’t need to be an expert, but a consistent personal practice beforehand is encouraged.

7. Where is the course located in Thailand, and how do I get there?
The course takes place at Baan Talay Resort & Yoga, located on the east side of Koh Tao, Thailand. To get to Koh Tao from Bangkok, you can fly to Koh Samui, Surat Thani, or Chumphon and then take a ferry. Ferry options include daytime trips with Lomprayah company and a night ferry with bunk beds in the dorm cabin from Surat Thani or Chumphon, offering an overnight journey. Once you arrive at the pier on Koh Tao, we offer a free pick-up service for all check-ins. Simply let us know your travel plans in advance, and we’ll keep you updated about the pick-up schedule.
